Roger Bird as Jim Reeves

In 2015 Roger was invited to perform the part of Jim Reeves in a touring production show "PATSY CLINE AND FRIENDS "

 

The Show features tributes to the great Patsy Cline and Hank Williams with a full live band and has received rave reviews from press and public throughout the UK.

 

The show had 100+ theatre dates booked for 2017 and is now an established part of the UK tribute scene.

 

During this time Roger has honed the homage to one of the most iconic voices of the country music scene!

 

He was lucky enough to perform before the late great GEORGE HAMILTON 4TH who was gratuitous in approving the act "You got the look... and you got the sound " And added " I ain't blowing smoke at ya!"

 

Despite the passing of over 50 years since his untimely and tragic end there is continued interest in the music of Jim Reeves Roger is looking forward to continuing success and is intent on taking this act worldwide.
